Aim: Understanding how to deploy a web application for Windows devices using Microsoft Intune

There are different types of apps that can be deployed to Windows devices using Intune and the simplest is a web app.   
 
An Intune web app is simply a web link shortcut that will open in a web browser.  To deploy a web app, input its website URL and give it a sensible display name then assign the app to a security group.  On Windows devices this will appear as a website shortcut in the Start menu.

Note that a web browser must be installed on the user’s device before they can launch web apps.
